Pavilion Participations:
Gwangju Biennale is launching a call for pavilions to form part of the Gwangju Biennale 2026.
The “PAVILION” was inaugurated to pursue a vision of globalization rooted in regional identity while expanding networks between art institutions in Korea and overseas as an accompanying project of Gwangju Biennale in the year of 2018.
Interested international art and culture institutions from diverse national backgrounds will be invited to submit provocative artistic experiences facilitating the exchange of ideas and fostering discussions on contemporary art practices, which will be taking place in Gwangju, Korea, between September and December 2026.
The Countries and Institutions willing to participate in the Gwangju Biennale Pavilion 2026 can formalize their participation request according to the PROCEDURE.
Applications and Proposals must be submitted no later than October 31, 2025.
